Cet article propose une analyse sociologique d’Indiana de George Sand inspirée de la méthode développée par Bourdieu dans Les règles de l’art. Il s’appuie sur une approche qui vise à mettre en évidence la position qu’invente Sand à l’aube de l’autonomisation du champ littéraire et l’importance de l’auteure dans l’histoire littéraire du xixe siècle.
Abstract
This article offers a sociological analysis of George Sand’s Indiana inspired by the method developed by Bourdieu in The Rules of Art. The approach used aims to highlight the position Sand invented at the dawn of the empowerment of literature as well as her importance in the literary history of the nineteenth century.
