Résumé
Les organisations sont reconnues pour leur rôle dans la dégradation des écosystèmes, mais elles peuvent aussi faire partie de la solution. Une étude quantitative a été réalisée auprès de 313 employés travaillant dans différents secteurs d’activité au Canada. L’étude a pour but de comprendre comment les facteurs de stress ainsi que les ressources sociales et personnelles influencent l’adoption de comportements écoresponsables. Les résultats montrent que le soutien environnemental du supérieur (ressource sociale) a plus d’influence sur les comportements écoresponsables de leurs subordonnés lorsque ceux-ci ressentent une fatigue citoyenne élevée en comparaison à une faible fatigue citoyenne (ressource personnelle). D’ailleurs, lorsque les subordonnés ressentent de la surcharge de travail (facteur de stress), l’effet du soutien du supérieur se détériore et a moins d’impact sur les comportements écoresponsables.

Abstract
Organizations are known to play a role in the degradation of ecosystems, but they can also be part of the solution. A quantitative study was conducted with 313 employees working in different sectors in Canada. According to Hobfoll & Shirom’s (2001) conservation of ressource theory, the purpose of the study is to understand how stressors, social and personnal resources influence eco-responsible behaviors. The results show that the supervisory support for environmental (social resource) has more influence on eco-friendly behaviors of their subordinates when they feel high citizenship fatigue compared to low citizenship fatigue (personal resource). Also, when subordinates experience workload (stressor), the effect of supervisor support deteriorates and has less impact on eco-friendly behaviors.

Las organizaciones son reconocidas por su papel en la degradación de los ecosistemas, pero también pueden ser parte de la solución. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo entre 313 empleados que trabajan en diferentes sectores de actividad en Canadá. El estudio tiene como objetivo comprender cómo los factores de estrés y los recursos sociales y personales influyen en la adopción de comportamientos eco-responsables. Los resultados muestran que el apoyo medio ambiental del superior (recurso social) tiene más influencia en los comportamientos eco-responsables de sus subordinados cuando estos sienten una alta fatiga ciudadana en comparación con una baja fatiga ciudadana (recurso personal). Además, cuando los subordinados se sienten sobrecargados de trabajo (factor de estrés), el efecto del apoyo del superior se deteriora y tiene menos impacto en el comportamiento eco-responsable.
