Résumé
Le don d’organes après le décès est une mission collective qui permet de sauver des vies ou en améliorer la qualité, en honorant les volontés des personnes défuntes et de leurs proches. La responsabilité professionnelle du personnel infirmier de l’urgence implique de participer à l’identification et la référence de tous les dons potentiels. Cet article fait le point sur la situation du don d’organes dans les urgences et met de l’avant le leadership infirmier transformationnel comme piste de solution afin d’améliorer les processus actuels.
