Résumé
La supervision externe d’équipe s’inscrit de plus en plus dans les dispositifs mis en place tant dans le réseau public que dans les milieux communautaires pour contribuer à soutenir les intervenants, à développer leurs habiletés et à améliorer les pratiques cliniques. Elle a aussi un rôle à jouer dans l’analyse des questions d’éthique et dans la prévention des erreurs déontologiques. La supervision d’équipe comporte cependant son lot de défis, notamment dans la prise en compte des dynamiques de groupe et dans les mécanismes à privilégier pour qu’elle puisse bien s’ajuster aux besoins et aux niveaux des intervenants y participant. Enfin, le superviseur doit également tenir compte de ses propres responsabilités éthiques face à ses supervisés et face à la clientèle des services dispensés.
Abstract
External supervision of teams is increasingly part of mechanisms put in place both in public networks and community organizations to contribute in supporting professional mental health workers in developing their abilities and improving their clinical practices. It also plays a role in the analysis of ethical questions and in the prevention of deontological errors. The supervision of teams also includes its share of challenges, notably with regards to group dynamics and mechanisms to favour in order for supervision to rightly adjust to the needs and levels of participating professionals. Finally, the supervisor must also consider his own ethical responsibilities towards those supervised and towards their clients.

La supervisión externa de equipo se incluye cada vez más en los dispositivos a disposición de la red pública, así como de los medios comunitarios, para contribuir al apoyo de los interventores, desarrollar sus habilidades y mejorar las prácticas clínicas. También desempeña un papel en el análisis de cuestiones de ética y en la prevención de los errores deontológicos. La supervisión de equipo implica, no obstante, su porción de retos, específicamente en la consideración de las dinámicas de grupo y en los mecanismos a privilegiar para que ésta pueda ajustarse bien a las necesidades y al nivel de los interventores que participan en ellas. Por último, el supervisor debe también considerar sus propias responsabilidades éticas frente a sus supervisados y frente a la clientela que recibe los servicios.
Resumo
A supervisão externa de equipe inscreve-se cada vez mais nos dispositivos criados, tanto na rede pública quanto nos meios comunitários, para ajudar a apoiar os interventores, a desenvolver suas habilidades e a melhorar as práticas clínicas. Ela também tem um papel a desempenhar na análise das questões de ética na prevenção dos erros deontológicos. A supervisão de equipe comporta, entretanto, sua parte de desafios, principalmente, na consideração das dinâmicas de grupo e nos mecanismos a privilegiar para que ela possa ajustar-se bem às necessidades e aos níveis dos interventores participantes. Finalmente, o supervisor deve, igualmente, levar em consideração suas próprias responsabilidades éticas face a seus supervisionados e face aos usuários dos serviços prestados.
