Abstract
This article presents the results of a scoping review on factors related to parental involvement in the education of preschoolers, as well as strategies to promote it. The analysis of 17 studies on parental involvement in preschool, published between 2010 and 2020, reveals 13 of the 14 factors from the Hornby and Lafaele model (2011). However, one factor, specific to the preschool period, was added. Different actors propose strategies to increase family involvement, although confirmation of their effectiveness needs subsequent research. Finally, five main findings that emerged from the analysis led to identifying avenues for future research.
