L’évaluation de l’importance économique du secteur de l’économie sociale en Languedoc-Roussillon, objet de cet article, a nécessité deux démarches successives : la constitution d’une base de données incluant le fichier Sirène et l’élaboration d’un cadre méthodologique d’évaluation des productions marchandes et non marchandes des organisations. À partir du fichier constitué, un échantillon représentatif a permis de réaliser une enquête. Le traitement des résultats a conduit à proposer la mesure des valeurs ajoutées marchandes directes et indirectes, de l’emploi, du surplus de solidarité et des valeurs sociales hors marché. L’étude propose également une estimation du nombre des prestations du secteur et du nombre des bénévoles dans la région. Ces différents résultats sont discutés et confrontés aux données nationales obtenues dans d’autres études.
Abstract
Evaluating the economic weight of the social economy sector in Languedoc-Roussillon, which is the subject of this article, was done in two stages. The first was the creation of a database starting from the Sirène dataset, and the second was the development of a methodology for measuring the market and non-market output of organizations. A survey was then conducted on a representative sample drawn from the database. Using the information collected, the authors propose measures of direct and indirect value-added for the market sector, employment, solidarity surplus and non-market social values. The study also estimates the volume of services supplied by the sector and the number of volunteers in the region. These various findings are discussed and compared with national data obtained in other studies.
