Biographical note
Mark Richards is on faculty at the University of Lethbridge. His research deals with form and style in music of the classical period, especially Beethoven, as well as analytical techniques for music in films. He has presented papers at the annual meetings of the Society for Music Theory, the Music Theory Society of New York State, Music Theory Midwest, the Canadian University Music Society, and Music and the Moving Image. His work has been published in Music Theory Spectrum, Music Analysis, Theory and Practice, Indiana Theory Review, Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy, and Intersections: Canadian Journal of Music.
