Abstract
The three keyboards of creation in Saint-Exupéry : narration, meditation, poetry. The narrator - The thinness of the plot of novels. From the romantic fictions to the chronicles. From the characters to the shadows, to the puppets, to the evil-doers and the faddists. The plane fades and disappears. The deliberate refusal of narration dedicated to the crust of text and thus neglecting the main points. The thinking man - Meditation originates from obsession of weight and the spreading of the mineral. From the proliferation of the virgin forest to the blowing of bridges at war. Dream to gather the points of the compass into a network of postal flying routes which prevents the world from decaying and turns an inhospitable land into a land meant for men. From the willing awareness of Rivière to the spirit of the young Mozart, a delicate balance of the logical exactness of Mathematics and the musing initiative from which it arises. The deviation of intelligence. Citadelle resumes the process and, through pointing out the factors of disintegration, calls attention as well to the architectures which areunifying forces. Can the essence of man according to Saint-Exupéry be brought out from this study ? Not in the least. Man is not to be copied but to be created.
