Résumé
Cet article présente l’approche politique de l’anthropologie sémiotique et en particulier d’une figure marquante de la discipline, Michael Silverstein, en défendant dans un premier temps l’idée que cette approche repose sur une interprétation fondamentalement politique de l’analyse poétique des interactions sociales et des processus d’entextualisation, ou mise-en-texte. Dans un second temps, la présentation de la philosophie politique de Jacques Rancière sera l’occasion de souligner quelques pistes d’articulation avec l’anthropologie sémiotique, articulations qui apportent aux questionnements ranciériens un modèle analytique pour les pratiques sociales effectives, et à la discipline anthropologique sémiotique l’explicitation d’un positionnement fondamentalement égalitaire. Ainsi, cette contribution soulignera la pertinence d’une analyse sémiotique à la mise en acte pratique de l’égalité dans le travail anthropologique.
