Pierre Legendre (1930-2023) est un érudit français dont la spécificité est d’être à la fois un historien du droit, un psychanalyste et un anthropologue. Ce cocktail détonant implique aussitôt que la question du sujet soit au coeur de son oeuvre : c’est ce fil directeur que nous suivons afin de saisir sur le vif le processus inédit de désubjectivation qui caractérise la société industrielle.

Abstract

Pierre Legendre (1930-2023) is a French scholar who was at the same time a historian of law, a psychoanalyst, and an anthropologist. This explosive mixture involves that the question of subject is at the heart of his work: we follow this guiding principle in order to take the process of desubjectivation caused by the industrial society on the spot.
