Abstract
This note reviews the “Petit traité de l'amour à l'usage des connards: Une approche économique de l'amour,” authored by Bertrand Fauré and published by l'Harmattan in 2021. François Cooren, the author of this book review, shows how Fauré manages to deploy, in a rather original way, the ins and outs of a monofactorial theory of love, a theory according to which this emotion would explain most of our behaviors and could even be taken as a basis for the organization of our societies.
