RÉSUMÉ
Le problème de la médiation sonore passe par une opposition entre représentation et reproduction. L'auteur analyse cette opposition telle qu'elle s'exprime à travers une critique de la technique dans son rapport au réel et à travers une conception de la pensée et de la perception du spectateur de cinéma. Cette analyse fournit l'occasion d'une réévaluation des positions théoriques de Béla Balazs sur le son au cinéma.
ABSTRACT
The problem of mediation in sound lies in the opposition between representation and reproduction. The author analyses this opposition through its expression in the critique of the relationship between technique and the real world, and through a conception of the thought and perception of the cinema spectator. This analysis provides an occasion for rereading the work of BéIa Balazs.
