Abstracts
‘Raznolikosti i sličnosti mimo etničkih pripadnosti: materijalne prakse migranata’. Etnička paradigma u istraživanju migracija – interes za migrante kao ’članove’ etničkih zajednica i ’nositelje’ etničkih identiteta – otežava razumijevanje raznolikosti i sličnosti mimo etničkih pripadnosti. Ovaj se članak zalaže za etnografsko istraživanje koje značaj etniciteta tretira kao empirijsko pitanje, dok su u fokusu materijalne prakse migranata. Predlaže preusmjeravanje interesa za predmete kao reprezentaciju društvenih odnosa prema samoj materijalnosti predmeta u transnacionalnim migracijskim kontekstima. Više pažnje valja posvetiti onome što ljudi čine da bi održali veze kojima su konstituirani transnacionalni društveni prostori. Te veze često ovise o predmetima koje migranti nose, šalju, primaju i koriste.
