Abstract
This article describes the evolution of the concept of experiential learning in the area of adult education over the last 25 years and how it has modified various practices. Research in this area helped develop the concept of learning as well as that experience. Experiential learning was initially defined as a process in constructing knowledge. However, with time, this concept has grown to include the process of searching for meaning as well as the notion of learning.
