Dans ce commentaire, l’auteur décrit les deux acceptions différentes de la notion « l’action positive ». Les prémisses philosophiques de ces deux acceptions sont opposées.

L’auteur démontre ensuite que la version « moderne » d’action positive est philosophiquement viciée et politiquement inopportune. La question d’action positive en faveur des femmes est particulièrement, mais non exclusivement adressée.

In this comment, the author describes two different notions of "affirmative action". Claiming that the two notions are philosophically incompatible, he fînds that the "modern" version of affirmative action is both philosophically and technically unsound. Affirmative action in favour of women is examined in particular detail.
