Biographical note
Katherine Dennis is an independent curator, writer and researcher dedicated to contemporary Canadian art. Katherine works collaboratively with artists and other curators to find innovative ways of connecting broad audiences to meaningful art experiences. In 2012 Katherine won the inaugural Middlebrook Prize for Young Canadian Curators at the Elora Centre for the Arts, where she curated the exhibition as perennial as the grass. In addition to her curatorial practice, Katherine is a research associate at Pivotal Research Inc., leading a research initiative to develop visitor metrics for Canadian museums. Katherine holds a BFA from the University of British Columbia and an MFA in Criticism and Curatorial Practices from OCAD University in Toronto.
