Biographical note
Casey Walker is a PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Radio-Television-Film. He is currently working on his dissertation, which explores classical Hollywood studio camera departments as networks of cultural and social capital. His work has been published in journals such as Dialogue and Unbound, in addition to an upcoming article in Journal of 20th Century Media History (June 2024). He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and three kids.
