Abstract
Henri Bouillard, in his theological quest, is inspired by Éric Weil’s philosophy in working out his concept of fundamental theology, especially concerning the relationship between the infinite of philosophical thought and the God of Christian faith. On the other hand, Weil’s philosophy also guards him against taking up the challenge of finding new ways for the question of God.
