Biographical note
Colleen Renihan teaches music history at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. She received a PhD in musicology from the University of Toronto in 2011 with a dissertation entitled “Sounding the Past: Canadian Opera as Historical Narrative.” Her research considers aspects of contemporary opera and operatic culture from a postmodern perspective.
