Biographical note
Gregory J. Marion is associate professor of music theory at the University of Saskatchewan. He has also held positions at the University of Iowa, the University of Michigan, and Penn State. Marion’s research is on European music of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, with a particular focus on the music of Claude Debussy. He has published various articles and has presented papers in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. Marion assumes the headship of the Department of Music at the University of Saskatchewan (five-year term) beginning 1 July 2015.
