Abstracts
Résumé
L’urbanisme est appelé à résoudre les problèmes de santé liés à l’obésité en encourageant l’adoption, à l’échelle de la population, de modes de vie sains et actifs. Cette note de recherche dresse un tableau des principaux résultats des travaux entrepris ces dernières années sur l’environnement bâti et la santé publique.

Abstract
Land-use planning can be applied to help reduce obesity-related health problems by encouraging the population to live active, healthy lifestyles. This research note provides a summary of key results from current studies focusing on the built environment and public health.
