Images de la femme dans la lyrique populaire haïtienne

Résumé

Cet article analyse les images de la femme (servante, traîtresse ou idole) dans la chanson populaire haïtienne à partir du modèle brésilien élaboré par Manoel Tosta Berlinck pour la samba, modèle qui souligne l'étroite corrélation entre la base socio-économique des rapports amoureux et l'image de la femme que se fait l'homme. Le corpus étudié est composé de poèmes écrits en français et en créole.

Abstract

This article examines the images of the woman (servant, traitor or idol) in popular Haitian song according to the Brazilian model created by Manoel Tosta Berlinck for the samba. This model underlines the close link of the socio-economic foundation of love relations with the image that the man has of the woman. The corpus of works considered is made up of poems written in French and Creole.
