Résumé

En parcourant quelques sentiers peu frayés de la littérature d'idées (un certain Maeterlinck, Edmond Picard, Roger Avermaete, Simon Leys), on découvre la vitalité de l'esprit critique, des audaces et des non-conformismes « oubliés » par la plupart des ouvrages de référence et qui témoignent de la permanence et de la santé de la pensée libre, héritière de la tradition libertine ou simple expression de la qualité et de l'indépendance d'une personne, dans la patrie de l'immortel Thyl Ulenspiegel.

Abstract

By travelling some little known paths of the literature of ideas (one Maeterlinck, Edmond Picard, Roger Avermaete, and Simon Leys), it is possible to discover the vitality of the critical mind, of the daring and the originality usually forgotten in reference texts but which bear witness to a time less and healthy of free thought whether it follow in the libertine tradition or whether it be a simple expression of the quality and the independance of a given person in the homeland of the immortal Thyl Ulenspiegel.
