Note biographique
Christine Ross est professeure titulaire de la Chaire James McGill en histoire de l’art contemporain au Département d’histoire de l’art et d’études en communication de l’Université McGill, et directrice de Media@McGill. Elle est l’auteure, entre autres, de The Past is the Present; It’s the Future too. The Temporal Turn in Contemporary Art (2012) ; The Aesthetics of Disengagement: Contemporary Art and Depression (2006) et Images de surface : l’art vidéo reconsidéré (1996). Elle a codirigé Precarious Visualities: New Perspectives on Identification in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture (2008) et codirige la publication The Participatory Condition (à paraître en 2015).

Biographical note
Christine Ross is Professor and James McGill Chair in Contemporary Art History in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University, as well as Director of Media@McGill. Her books include: The Past is the Present; It’s the Future too. The Temporal Turn in Contemporary Art (2012); The Aesthetics of Disengagement: Contemporary Art and Depression (2006); and Images de surface: l’art vidéo reconsidéré (1996). She is co-editor of Precarious Visualities: New Perspectives on Identification in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture (2008) and The Participatory Condition (forthcoming, 2015).
