Résumé

Ce texte désire faire comprendre le poids des lettres circulaires des supérieures générales comme médiation de la réception du concile Vatican II. La lecture et l’interprétation du concile à travers ce type d’intercession témoignent de la singularité du processus pour chaque communauté apostolique féminine qui possède un charisme et une spiritualité qui lui est propre. De la phase préparatoire à la période conciliaire, de l’application du décret Perfectae caritatis en passant par l’adoption des nouvelles constitutions, les lettres circulaires attestent des questionnements qui tiraillent les religieuses durant la période d’adaptation, des réflexions spirituelles qui les accompagnent et aussi des solutions particulières qu’elles adopteront.

Abstract

This text seeks to understand the weight of the circular letters of the Superiors General in the reception of the Second Vatican Council. The Council's interpretation through this type of intercession underlines the singularity of each female apostolic community, which has its own charism and spirituality. From the preparatory phase to the conciliar period, from the application of the Perfectae caritatis decree to the adoption of the new constitutions, the circular letters testify to the questions that the nuns faced during the period of adaptation, the spiritual reflections that accompanied them and also the particular solutions that they adopted.
