Résumé
Nous étudions ici les avancées de la psychologie positive et les appliquons à la gestion du personnel en bibliothèques afin d’améliorer la satisfaction à l’égard de la vie des employés et la productivité au travail. Nous nous intéressons à la psychologie positive et aux outils qu’elle propose de même qu’aux avantages de choisir le bonheur comme valeur au travail. Nous appliquons ensuite nos observations à la gestion du personnel en bibliothèques, notamment en matière d’interventions, de pratiques en place et de situations managériales courantes.
Abstract
This article discusses recent developments in positive psychology and their application to the management of library personnel with a view to improve employees’ outlook on life and productivity. We are interested in positive psychology and its resources as well as the advantages of choosing happiness as a work value. We applied the observations to the management of library personnel, namely with respect to current procedures, practices and management situations.
