Studio Riopelle : une ressource éducative numérique
As part of the Centenary Celebrations around the birth of artist Jean-Paul Riopelle (1923-2002), the Riopelle Foundation was inspired by the artist’s dream of sharing his passion for art, his vision of nature, his need to explore artistically, and his desire to incite future generations of artists. A rich and wonderful space of encounters, Studio Riopelle is a free digital interface developed by pedagogical designers to combine different approaches such as gamification, interactivity, distance learning, pluridisciplinarity and a meaningful integration of the cultural dimension. In this article, we thank Manon Gauthier, Executive Director of the Riopelle Foundation, Andrée-Caroline Boucher, Ph.D., Education Coordinator of the Studio Riopelle, and Michelle Rhéaume, M.A., Cultural Mediator and Outreach Officer, for sharing their own passion and fascination for Riopelle’s work and its resonance today as highlighted in the thematic sections titled: Play, Nature, Freedom, Earth, and Trajectories.
